Never stop learning.

Although not a traditional early years setting Little Woodland Tribe is registered with Ofsted and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). All aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework are adhered to.

We cover the seven areas of learning set out in the EYFS in our own unique way by exploring and discovering through our daily adventures surrounded by our beautiful natural environment. 

At Little Woodland Tribe we believe that children learn best when their interests are followed and their ideas and opinions are respected. 

By following this child centered approach children can engage in play based activities that best suit their own unique personalities, whilst being supported by nurturing and experienced adults who understand how and when they can extend children's learning 'in the moment'.

Children are encouraged to reflect on their activities with their peers, practitioners, and their families encouraging them to extend their learning and make connections through all aspects of their lives.
